The Khavda IV Part-A transmission project is a special-purpose vehicle (SPV) which has been set up by RECPDCL. It has been built to supply 7 GW from the renewable energy park under the Phase-IV Part A package. The Adani Group has also mentioned that the Khavda transmission line is a part of the national grid. It will evacuate 7 GW of renewable energy by connecting 765 kV double circuit lines from Khavda to Lakadia and Khavda to Bhuj by setting up a transformation capacity of 4,500 MVA.

According to a statement made by the company, the Khavda renewable energy park has a planned generation capacity of 30 GW. It will commission the project in the next 24 months on a BOOT (build, own, operate, and transfer) basis. It will also hold the rights to maintain the project for the next 35 years. The company has plans to invest around INR 4,091 crore to build a 298 km transmission project.
